Do you experience…

  • a sinking feeling when you forget a word, name, or detail? 🌊

  • alarm bells of “is this normal?” and “should I be worried?”🔔

  • desperately clicking on articles about potential cures or treatments? 📝

  • a cloud of despair that rolls in when you feel like you could be losing your memory (but everyone says, “that’s normal, you’re fine, don’t worry about it!”)? 🌧️

If that’s you, breathe a sigh of relief and join the party! My practice offers step-by-step guidance from fear of getting dementia to living the best possible life with any diagnosis.

You may feel particularly supported if you’re a woman in yours 50s-70s who has witnessed dementia in a parent, sibling, or other loved one. Through these steps, you can honor your loved one’s memory while preparing for the possibility in your own future.

These steps can also support you if you have a recent diagnosis, are in the process of getting evaluated, are thinking about talking to your doctor, or are supporting a loved one on this journey.

So that’s you… but who am I?

Hi! I’m Emerson Lee.

I’m a dementia readiness coach and life enrichment specialist who is trained as a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional (CMDCP), and end-of-life doula. My practice shares psycho-social-emotional preparations for the entire dementia journey.

I started as a one-on-one life enrichment provider to residents at all levels of cognitive and physical abilities in memory care. We shared many walks, dance parties, and conversations!

I’m a member of Reimagining Dementia: A Creative Coalition for Justice, a graduate of Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, and a neurodivergent person who navigates advocacy and accommodations in my personal and professional life.

My own life enrichment practice features dogs, flowers, and cake.

I live in the Pacific Northwest with my spouse, child, and dog. I offer in-person and virtual workshops, one-on-one and family coaching, and small groups. You can find my current offerings on my Steps page.

This practice is in loving memory of 7 women: the teacher, the CEO, the mom, the singer, the activist, the friend, and the one who always made me laugh.
